I volunteer on Monday mornings at @EakinEagles library. When I arrived this morning, a student was sitting by himself because he complained to the teacher that he felt sick and that, in fact, his parent had given him Advil this morning to treat his fever.

Aside from this first-hand experience and the news reports about flu and RSV, why haven't families heard anything from our school or @MetroSchools about the high number of absences caused by illnesses right now? Seems like a commonsense thing to point out to everyone.
