Where is Kenneth Okonkwo?

Today makes it exactly 42 days since substituted service was effected on Kenneth Okonkwo by Peter Obi’s legal team over the ₦8 billion defamation suit.

Up till this moment, Kenneth Okonkwo has not entered appearance.

Kenneth has dismissed every suggestion that he was afraid.

But somehow, that confidence has not translated into showing up in court after the substituted service was effected on him.

The official window for him to enter appearance closes by default today, and unfortunately, the courts have already gone on vacation.

By the time the courts resume in September, Peter Obi’s legal team will be proceeding to prove the extent of the alleged reputational damage and, more importantly, why they believe the unliquidated ₦8 billion claim is justified.

So far, Kenneth has not impressed me at all with this hide-and-seek game.
