Question 6 would raise energy costs & harm Nevada's economy. The plan is funded by hedge fund billionaire Tom Steyer who doesn't even live in Nevada! 🔌
Despite #Steyer’s $6M the #Question6 vote was closer than other ballot questions and in many counties we won. Steyer’s operatives will need to face Nevada voters again in two years and we’re confident Nevadans will resoundingly say NO once they read the costly plan.
@BitterWaterBlue@CleanFutureNV Ontario Canada just rejected the same costly scam you’re peddling in Nevada. Numerous states and countries have done the same. Are you uninformed or are you deliberately dishonest? #NoQuestion6
@KRNV @CassieWilsonWX @CleanFutureNV@noonquestion6 "Shall Article 4 of the Nevada Constitution be amended to require, beginning in calendar year 2022, that all providers of electric utility services who sell electricity to retail customers for consumption in Nevada ... Constitutional amendment? NO thank you.
Our votes are not for sale! Today Nevadans tell San Francisco billionaire #TomSteyer we don't want his costly energy plan in our Constitution! #NoQuestion6
#Question6 is sponsored by San Francisco billionaire #TomSteyer. It amends our Constitution so there would be no way out when it raises our energy costs. #NoQuestion6
#Question6 is a bad deal for Nevada. In fact, the plan is funded by a San Francisco billionaire — who made his own fortune in oil and coal. #TomSteyer#NoQuestion6
"Taylor estimated that #Question6 would cost Nevada households more than $2,000 per year in direct costs and the cost of energy built into the purchase of products and services." https://t.co/Zsl2hnrztX #NoQuestion6
Environmental advocates have launched the “Question #Question6” campaign. The constitutional amendment, funded by out-of-state billionaire #TomSteyer, includes zero provisions to protect habitat and endangered animals.
Questioning #Question6. This #Mojave yucca desert was bulldozed for Dry Lake #Solar Energy Zone in #Nevada, 2015. Tortoise translocation had high mortality. Mitigation not working. Time for strong Distributed Energy Resources #DERs policy
Don't let a San Francisco billionaire's slick mailers and paid campaign operatives fool you. #Question6 will raise our energy costs by $500-$1000 annually and Nevada's poor and working poor will be harmed the most. @StephenMoore
@AriFleis@CleanFutureNV Why don't you think your point through a little more? If you were keeping the existing policy in place, why do you need #Question6? If you are adopting California's policy, which you are, why do you deny we also will experience rate increases? Even your own spokesman admits it:
