IT'S WORSE THAN YOU THINK.
So the EU just approved Chat Control 1.0
Despite a MAJORITY of the elected politicians voting AGAINST it.
314 voted no.
276 voted yes.
Because this vote was forced just before summer vacation, many politicians weren't there to vote.
And without an absolute majority of 361 no votes, the chat control passed by default.
And guess what?
The EU parliament already voted NO to this in March.
Yet another vote was forced now just before summer vacation and this time it passed because not enough MEPs was there to vote no this time.
This doesn't sound democratic.
This is interesting. France used to be an innovative, fast-growing country. Then it elected socialist Mitterrand as president in 1981 and moved to big state and high taxes. It has never recovered since then
Isn’t it ironic that Germany and the UK want to repeat the same mistake?
There were times when Europe was known for innovation and progress. Then Europe followed the path of regulations, overtaxation and left redistribution, throttling growth and innovation. China replaced Europe as a competitor to the US. AI will only accelerate Europe’s irrelevance.
There have been 9 European companies that have raised $1bn+ rounds so far in 2026.
15 years ago people doubted whether Europe could produce billion dollar tech companies.
Now there are tech companies here raising billion dollar ROUNDS, and so far in 2026 there have been 9 of them:
> Isomorphic Labs: $2.1bn
> Nscale: $2.0bn
> Stegra: €1.4bn
> NEURA Robotics: $1.4bn
> Helsing: Raising $1.2bn
> Wayve: $1.2bn
> Ineffable Intelligence: $1.1bn
> Quantum Systems: €1.0bn
> Amilabs: $1bn
Europe is cooking.
🇪🇺 EU Chief Von der Leyen:
“Europe is facing a housing crisis.
Our citizens are calling for solutions, and we are responding.
We aim to launch a European housing alliance, and we will convene a high-level European housing summit.”
Seriously, how are you guys responding? All Europeans see is how you regulate, drive up costs, and don't contribute any innovation.
On that very point, maybe if you stopped illegal and mass immigration into Europe, part of the problem would be solved.

🇪🇺 Europe is creating a new global trade architecture.
Europe is trying to counter its industrial decline through a new wave of free trade agreements
EU–Mercosur is expected to add more than €77.6bn to EU GDP by 2040
EU–India is expected to generate GDP gains of 0.12–0.13% for both sides.
EU–Chile is expected to increase EU exports by up to €4.5bn and EU–Australia could add €4bn to EU GDP by 2030.
Europe needs lower dependence on China and new markets for its industry, focused on Latin America and the Indo-Pacific.

In 2004, 🇵🇱 Poland joined the 🇪🇺EU as its poorest large member.
Europe bet on its potential - and investment flowed in.
Since accession, beyond private capital, Poland has received nearly €250 billion from the EU budget - around €163 billion net after its own contributions. More than any other member state.
Roads, rail, energy, human capital.
🇬🇧 Britain played its part twice over. As one of the EU's largest net contributors, British taxpayers helped fund those transfers. And in 2004, the UK was one of only three countries to fully open its labor market to Poles from day one. No transition period. No waiting.
Twenty years later: Polish exports up sixfold, GDP per capita roughly tripled - the fastest sustained growth story in Europe.
This week, Polish capital filed plans for a £35 billion fleet of 14 nuclear reactors in Britain.
Clean power for 8 million homes, for 60 years. The largest private nuclear investment in British history - aimed squarely at strengthening the UK's energy security.
This is what Poland's success story shows: when Europeans stand by each other, we all end up safer, stronger, more competitive.
Stronger together.

This hit different.
An old Japanese supermarket closes after 75 years. No complaints, no rush, just the owners and workers lining up to bow deeply as the shutter comes down for the last time. Pure respect until the very end.
Lesson : Real dignity isn’t loud. It’s showing up with excellence every single day, then closing the door the same way you opened it with gratitude and class.
They treated ordinary work like something sacred. We need more of that spirit.
Finish strong. Honor what you build. Carry yourself with quiet pride.
🇪🇺 Europe is entering the largest energy transformation in its history.
The EU wants renewables to reach 42.5% of final energy consumption by 2030
This year, Germany, Spain, France and much of Europe are breaking new solar generation records
The main challenge now is coordination between countries through a common European energy market.
A common energy market moves electricity across borders, connecting renewable supply with demand.
This requires enormous investment, with the EU estimating around €1.2 trillion for electricity grids by 2040
But it is the only path to energy sovereignty and lower system costs
The Governor of Louisiana is lying.
The people of Greenland do not want to become part of the United States, and they have made that clear.
The future of Greenland will be decided by the Greenlandic people alone. For now, Greenland is a self-governing part of the Kingdom of Denmark.
Greenland does not trade with Russia. Greenland exports shrimp to China.
Instead of spreading false claims about Greenland, focus on your own state. Louisiana faces serious challenges with infrastructure, education, healthcare, and poverty, etc. Your time would be better spent addressing those issues than commenting on a country you clearly don’t understand.
Respect the facts. Respect the people of Greenland.
Shame on you.
From Premier of Greenland Jens-Frederik Nielsen’s Facebook page, July 3, 2026:
“The world is unsettled. That is why we must stand strong together with others.
Recent statements from people close to the President of the United States remind us that we cannot take international support for granted.
It must be built. It must be maintained. And it requires us to be present where the world’s leaders meet.
That is why I am participating in Les Rencontres Économiques d’Aix in France. Here, political leaders, business executives, researchers, and decision-makers come together to discuss the major issues shaping our world today.
For us in Greenland, this is about fostering understanding, building trust, and strengthening the relationships that make us more resilient.
When some seek to cast doubt on our right to determine our own future, it is vital to have allies who support our clear aspiration to decide our own future ourselves.
We are strongest when the world knows us, respects us, and listens to us. 🇬🇱”
America’s 250th anniversary also belongs to the Dutch. 🇳🇱 They were there at the beginning. They gave us the First Salute in 1776 — the first time any foreign power recognized our flag. They loaned us the money to survive our fight for independence. They gave our Founders the inspiration for a document that declared our desire for a free society. And when freedom in Europe was threatened two centuries later, Americans crossed that ocean to stand with them — just as the Dutch had once stood with us. That is 250 years of partnership. 250 years of shared values. 250 years of showing up for each other — in the good times and in the hard ones. I am deeply proud to represent the United States here, in this country, at this moment in history. And I am grateful for the privilege of calling the Dutch our friends. Hartelijk dank. Thank you, happy Independence Day, and God bless The United States of America. 🇺🇸

This chart explains why Poland, Italy and Spain can no longer reverse their demographic crisis with pro-family policies. It’s simply too late.
Like it or not, smart immigration is the only solution to avoid an implosion of pension and healthcare systems, and real estate market.
Energy has always been the quiet partner in rising incomes.
More energy enabled higher productivity, healthier lives, and larger opportunity.
That link hasn’t disappeared. What’s changed is the need to rebuild energy systems to scale cleanly and reliably. We need an energy transition, but also an energy expansion. https://t.co/GaT4rDtq9R
White people are terrified of being seen as racist.
If white guilt permeates the online world and our schools, then our adults will feel guilty too.
This helps neither whites nor ethnics.
My ARC speech:
🇪🇺 The common energy market is Europe’s shield against geopolitical shocks.
Europe needs around €1.2 trillion in electricity-grid investment by 2040
In 2025, Spanish wholesale electricity was 27% cheaper than Germany’s and 44% cheaper than Italy’s.
A common market would move cheap clean electricity across Europe, reduce price gaps and renewable waste, and cut dependence on imported fossil fuels.
Without pan-European grids, electrification will fail, industry will continue paying higher energy costs and every external shock will again spread into inflation and stagnation.
