Thinking back on my 7 years as a kpop fan, i think #NMIXX is the 1st group that ive ever been this eager to support SINCE PREDEBUT. I actually eager to stream their MVs, vote for them, get excited seeing their songs on the charts, and feel proud watching them grow since debut🥹

ISN'T IT IRONIC HOW JYPE ALWAYS FAST AT DECLINING AND CONFIRMING MATTERS REGARDING THE CONTRACT OF OUR GIRLS BUT THEY'RE SO SLOW AND QUIET WHEN WE ARE ASKING FOR BETTER PROMOTIONS AND TREATMENT??? 🫢🫤
JYP Entertainment responds to reports claiming TWICE's Jihyo is leaving the company:
"TWICE is currently in the contract renewal discussion period, and we are continuing careful discussions. We will provide an update once the matter has been finalized."
Jihyo of TWICE will reportedly part ways with JYP Entertainment after 21 years and pursue her individual activities independently while remaining a member of TWICE.
the people in the quotes that are upset about this don’t realize how badly jype played in her face for 11 years. this is the best decision she could possibly make.
JYP Entertainment shuts down speculation regarding TZUYU, JEONGYEON, and CHAEYOUNG’s contracts, clarifying that TWICE is currently in contract renewal discussions and that updates will be provided once a decision is confirmed.

Nothing has been confirmed, so of course when I use "reportedly" you should take it as unconfirmed.
All JYPE has said is "TWICE is currently in contract renewal discussions, an update will be provided as soon as details are finalized" which doesn't really deny anything. The articles cite "multiple music industry sources" but it's up to you to believe it or not.
Personally I think the members or someone on their teams could be sharing their plans in order to light a fire under JYPE, use it as leverage for contract negotiations, and gauge public reaction. I don't think news outlets of 15/20+ years would just randomly make it up.
