Believing despite evidence isn’t faith.

Faith is believing because we have evidence. Some of that evidence is personal to us. As we see God keeping His promises to us, our faith grows. The One who was with us yesterday will be with us tomorrow. He has been our help in ages past, and He is our only hope for years to come. In Him you can trust!

Yesterday I discussed witnessing for Jesus and using one’s gifts for oneself rather than for God, which the New Testament calls sowing to the flesh versus sowing to the Spirit. Ask yourself today: Am I living for myself or for Jesus?
