Thanks to our funding agencies and host institute for making the workshop series possible😀
11th #NorMIC ended well as usual. We usually read student feedback and discuss while we clean up the labs. Many write pages of feedback, that alone is heart warming. The interaction with student was the best part for us and we learn new things from them too. Thanks for the ride:)
#NorMIC 11th NorMIC image processing workshop is on:) @kschink, Rune, Rainer and Domink did a great job covering the first day lecture. Social dinner was as usually planned on the evening of the first day, new knowledge gained and new connections formed:)
Prof Dag Kristian Dysthe demonstrating his openSPIM in the first day lab session of #10thNorMIC workshop. And on the same day, Dag Kristian was awarded the Education price in UiO. @unioslo_mn@biovitenskap @NCMMnews https://t.co/oq1ObOoT0i
#NorMic The next treat for the students: Rune Enger @GliaLab_UniOslo talks about 2-photon calcium imaging in astrocytes in living animals. Fantastic imaging and great intro to in vivo microscopy. @nor_mic @UiO_LifeSci @UniOslo_MED
Last summer @manorlaboratory & I taught a course on quantitative confocal microscopy @salkinstitute. I just posted videos of the lectures on Microcourses. Lecturers include me, Uri, @TalleyJLambert & @RylieWalsh. Enjoy! https://t.co/UOhSig31aM
This year's camera lecture is a fantastic collaboration between Mathias from @Photometrics and Sebastian from @HamamatsuPhoton . Excellent speakers with deep knowledge.
#NorMic had great support from many vendors, who give talks in advanced instrumentation.
The first one up is Øystein from Chipnano, presenting their solution for chip-based TIRF and single molecule imaging platform. Cool new application for CLEM on chip
The 10th NorMIC Workshop on Biological Optical Microscopy organised by @NCMMnews @biovitenskap and Advanced Light Microscopy Core Facility @Oslounivsykehus starts today.
The lectures are open to public. See the full schedule:
