It's over-hated, but it's also over-glazed as well.

I kind of get where you're coming from for the weapon banners, but really, if you're pulling on the weapon banner, it means you're also probably pulling for a character anyway, so you're gonna get weapon currency to get their sig weapon and chances are you're gonna get a lot of other weapons in the process.
