After a series of killings by LAPD this month, it was sobering to run into one of the billboards by @kennethmejiaLA and @theglowingstars that is still up at Olympic and Crenshaw—across from a #BlackLivesMatter sign.
KDL has disqualified himself from public office.
We've tried calls for resignation. We've tried censures.
We've tried leaving chambers to break quorum.
He has refused accountability over and over. So today I spoke to him directly and tell him, yet again, that he needs to go.
