Tomorrow I will be speaking at #JavaZone in Oslo with a talk titled "How to give better code reviews".

As always, feel free to say hi if you are attending! 😁
Really excited about going to @defcon for the first time this year! Looking forward to checking out @girlshackvllg, @AppSec_Village, and @cloudvillage_dc.
I have wanted to go for a long time, and can't believe it is finally happening!
@karinlag Front end development means you don't know exactly what machine your code will run on. If you make a program that runs in a browser your users can have many different type of browsers. With back end your code will run on a machine you choose. Users will only send requests to it.
@pati_gallardo Very interesting! I am happy with how we do code reviews at my current job, but I think I am just lucky. Most other places the process was very (subjectivly) opinionated, and one person was usually indirectly "in charge". Glad you are brining this up! 😀
@BuschnicK@halvarflake I am not a big fan of React or Angular either. But frameworks help with some basic security that can come back and bite you. Like XSS. Also, guidence can be good in bigger projects 😁 But I still understand why you don't like them 😂

All programming tutorials ever:
Lesson 1: "An algorithm is a recipe, like baking a cake..."
Lesson 2: "Recursively implement merge sort in O(n log n) time"
