The next Northern VA Country Western Dance Association dance will be held this weekend at Galilee Church Saturday, February 15th. If a lot of people show up, it would be a great incentive for having more dances at that location when Lincolnia Senior Center in Alexandria is not available. The dance runs from 6:00-9:30 p.m. Music by a DJ (Kevin Handy). BYO refreshments. No alcohol allowed. Admission: $15 for non-members, $10 for members. $5 for children under 18 accompanied by an adult. Two lessons will be taught: one line dance and one couples dance. The illustrious Loudoun County BoS has recently purchased 7 acres of land in Sterling (area around where Olive Garden used to be). Here are the details (all taxpayer money), tell me we don't need DOGE:

➡️Loudoun BoS acquired (7) acres of land for $28m or $4M per acre. This land was zoned for data centers
➡️ Commercial land in Sterling, VA is between $300k - $600k
➡️ What should have cost Loudoun County taxpayers $4.2M has now cost us $28M (additional $23.8M in taxpayer money)
➡️ The land use is expected to be used for an Arts Center, spearheaded by Juli Briskman
➡️ Cost of the "study": $1M
➡️ Cost of structure/Building: $180M
➡️Cost of Annual Operations/Maintenance: $5M
