This may look like Kurdistan... but it's actually Israel.
Thousands gathered to celebrate Kurdish culture at the Kubeh Festival near Jerusalem on Wednesday, highlighting the traditions of Israel's Kurdish Jewish community. @Y_Pobegailova reports.
When it comes to the Kurds, human rights go blind.
On July 19, 2026, the terrorist Iranian regime attacked Kurds using white phosphorus weapons.
#StopUsingBannedWeaponsInKurdistan
For more than four decades, the Islamic Republic has relied on executions, repression, cross-border attacks and also military force to silence dissent. Today, missiles & drones continue to target the Kurdistan Region & burns people alive.

IRAN ACCUSED OF USING WHITE PHOSPHORUS IN DRONE STRIKE ON KURDISH BASE
The Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK) says Iran used white phosphorus munitions in a drone attack on a Kurdistan National Army base in the early hours of July 19.
According to the group, eyewitness accounts, medical examinations of nine wounded Peshmerga fighters and extensive fires at the site indicate that the munitions contained white phosphorus.
PAK called the alleged attack a grave violation of international humanitarian law and urged the United Nations, the International Committee of the Red Cross and other international bodies to investigate and hold Iran accountable.
The group also called on the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government to protect their territory and citizens from continued Iranian cross-border attacks.
The claim has not yet been independently verified.
The brutal Iranian terrorist regime has once again crossed every red line by deploying white phosphorus munitions against Kurdish forces.
In a deliberate drone strike, the Islamic terrorist regime of Iran targeted a base of the Kurdistan National Army with white phosphorus explosives.
The horrifying evidence is undeniable, nine Peshmerga fighters were severely burned in the attack, and the targeted area was engulfed in uncontrollable and spreading fires characteristic of white phosphorus incendiaries.
This was not just an attack but it was a war crime. The use of these horrific weapons which incinerate human flesh and poison the environment and represents a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the fundamental rules of warfare.
No civilized nation has the right to unleash such barbaric suffering.
The international community cannot remain silent in the face of this atrocity.
We urgently call on the @UN Secretary-General, the @SCRtweets , the #UN Human Rights Council, the International Committee of the @RedCross and all responsible global institutions to immediately launch investigations and take concrete legal action to hold the Islamic Republic of Iran accountable.
We also demand that the Iraqi federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government stand together to protect their people, strengthen security and defend human rights against this ongoing threat.
Silence is complicity. This crime must not go unpunished.
