May 2026 be the year our parents finally feel that all the sacrifices were worth it. The tired days, the quiet struggles, the times they chose us over themselves. May they see us grow, stand on our own, and live with purpose. Let this year be our way of saying thank you. 🫶🏻
A simple reminder:
“No need to be too hard on yourself. Hold yourself to a higher standard but not an impossible one. And forgive yourself if and when you slip up.”
~The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman 📖

So, if you are entertaining some doubts right now, I encourage you to crush it. If you are seeking counsel, turn to a friend or a mentor. If you feel tired and close to giving up, take a rest. A decision to push through or give up is a big one. Make sure that you are in a rested state of mind before deciding, or at least consult someone whose discretion matters to you.
Any road has stop signs, but do not lose grip of your reasons why you're on the road in the first place. Do not lose sight of your desired destination, and never forget that you are not alone.
YES, YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
One of my mentors posted this today on his WhatsApp and I couldn't scroll past it. I'm sharing it with everyone who wants more out of life and refuses to settle for average.
Be gentle and kind to yourself. What you can't control is not your fault. If you believe in your heart that you are doing your best, you probably are. Don't let anxiety about the future discourage you. When you do your best, it will lead you where you ought to be--somewhere better.

5 Tips from Prof. Ticman on how to (practically) answer bar questions in Criminal Law (non- verbatim).
Tip No 1. There is no question that calls for an "IT DEPENDS" answer.
Rationale: Hahaba ang sagot kasi you'll answer both points. Mahihirapan si examiner mag check.
@2025BarExam Agree. They will just update lang on the newly included topic, cases penned ng bar chair, new jurisprudence and current events. Yung bar areas are still the same.
@madeforradleigh Other delve into private practice while waiting for their applications so that they can make use of their time. Government applications take time to process. If you're successful applicant, it takes a year to finally assume your position. 9 months for the validity and processing.
“Your timeline is not a failure, it's just different, you just have to keep showing up even when it hurts.” -Dr. Parchaso PLE topnotcher. It was a 10-year journey for him & the 3rd attempt to take the board exams but his score was so high, they cannot believe it. Very inspiring.
A law degree is, without exaggeration, one of the most structurally versatile qualifications a person can hold.
But let's take it one level deeper.
Law is not merely about careers. Law is about legitimacy.
Every system corporate, governmental, financial, international ultimately turns on one question: what is valid, what is enforceable, what holds?
That is the lawyer's domain.
So when a lawyer steps into any industry, what are they actually doing? They are structuring authority. They are organizing power. They are translating intention into enforceable reality.
That is why lawyers can move across sectors so fluidly because legitimacy is the underlying architecture of all of them.
The courtroom is simply the most visible arena. It is not the only one.
And once you understand that, "pivoting" stops looking like departure and starts looking like deployment.
