@madebygoogle Thank you and we did, @madebygoogle the support team were great but couldn't find a solution or why it was happening, although they did log what was happening to hopefully help with future developments, we ended up paying £195 for a repair to get the £900 phone working

@madebygoogle So me and my wife each get the Pixel 7 Pro on release, over 2 weeks ago the camera on her phone shattered, tried sending for repair with carrier & found out this is a known issue, what do we do? (same phone in pictures below) #pixel7brokencamera

@kabirelashio @madebygoogle They all have good and bad points, however as like you I'm very much Google orientated with the products for work and home, much like Apple with the watch, iPad, AirPods, MacBook etc...

@timboevbo @madebygoogle I didn't as the thread did not seem to be trending or any resolve available, and just checking today it still looks like the posts are not being replied to by Google as they are looking into it, I would love a refund but that's probably not going to happen.

@aniket_ksingh @madebygoogle Since the repair my wife's phone has been brilliant and my own Pixel 7 Pro although a little more careful on taking it out in the cold weather making sure we gradually get it out when coming in or out of the house, but I wouldn't be that concerned 🙂

@SreenadhAnil @madebygoogle When the break happened my wife came from outside and and placed on our dining room table, I have the same phone but mine was in my pocket then placed on the table so maybe outside to in was too quick of a change ?? but either way not something we damaged.

The phone was sent for repair with Google, however not under warranty, it was quoted £195.27 for the broken glass, then they came back saying it couldn't be fixed so a replacement would be sent instead, OK until we had to tell Vodafone that the IMEI was different, no issue since
