୨୦୨୬-୨୭ ଶିକ୍ଷା ବର୍ଷରୁ ରାଜ୍ୟର ଇଞ୍ଜିନିୟରିଂ, ମେଡିକାଲ, ଡେଣ୍ଟାଲ, ନର୍ସିଂ, ଫାର୍ମାସି, ମ୍ୟାନେଜମେଣ୍ଟ, କମ୍ପ୍ୟୁଟର ଆପ୍ଲିକେସନ୍, ଆଇଟିଆଇ, ପଲିଟେକ୍ନିକ୍, କୃଷି, ପ୍ରାଣୀ ଚିକିତ୍ସା, ଆର୍କିଟେକ୍ଚର ଓ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ବୈଷୟିକ ପାଠ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ଅନୁସୂଚିତ ଜନଜାତି, ଅନୁସୂଚିତ ଜାତି ଏବଂ ସାମାଜିକ ଓ ଶିକ୍ଷାଗତ ପଛୁଆ ବର୍ଗ ପାଇଁ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିତ ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ ହେବ।

- ଅନୁସୂଚିତ ଜନଜାତି ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ: ୧୨% ରୁ ୨୨.୫%
- ଅନୁସୂଚିତ ଜାତି ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ: ୮% ରୁ ୧୬.୨୫%
- ସାମାଜିକ ଓ ଶିକ୍ଷାଗତ ପଛୁଆ ବର୍ଗ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଥମ ଥର ୧୧.୨୫% ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ

ରାଜ୍ୟ କ୍ୟାବିନେଟର ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ଏହା ସମ୍ପର୍କିତ ବିଧିବଦ୍ଧ ସ୍ମାରକପତ୍ର ଆଜି ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇଛି। ଏହି ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ରାଜ୍ୟର ସମସ୍ତ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ, ଅନୁବନ୍ଧିତ ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଏବଂ ବୈଷୟିକ ଶିକ୍ଷାନୁଷ୍ଠାନରେ ଲାଗୁ ହେବ।

ଏହି ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଉଚ୍ଚ ଓ ବୈଷୟିକ ଶିକ୍ଷାରେ ଅଧିକ ସୁଯୋଗ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବା ସହ ସାମାଜିକ ନ୍ୟାୟ ଓ ସମାବେଶୀ ବିକାଶକୁ ଆହୁରି ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବ।

Reservation for Scheduled Castes (SCs) increased from 8% to 16.25%
Decision taken to implement 11.25% reservation for Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBCs)
The revised reservation policy will be implemented across all universities and affiliated educational institutions.
It will apply to admissions in ITI, Polytechnic, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Management courses.
