@LeslynLewis RBC and TD have significant holdings in the US. BNS has significant holdings in Mexico and the Caribbean. If Canadian banks want to invest in other countries, then companies in other countries have the right to invest in the Canadian financial sector.
@KirkLubimov Yes a very reactive campaign. Not going on Joe Rogan is insane. You have to go around the Canadian lame stream media. Should have done it during the Liberal leadership race. Not during the writ because that time is better spent talking directly with voters.
@tictacpc@StatisticsBC@adambeis @CanElectInt It’s very strange. But the poll by poll analysis needs to be done. The big ballot thing is a distraction from likely one of the most amazing GOTV efforts in history or some other skullduggery.
@JayGenXer In Regina, seeing Conservative and Liberal signs. What is notable so far is zero NDP signs. I think the collapse of the federal NDP in Sask is a real thing. Not sure if they actually nominated a candidate in Regina Wascana.
@MPelletierCIO Let me help you. The dairy sector is very big in Quebec. The oil sector is in Western Canada. The power base in the Montreal- Toronto corridor have no interest in sharing power with any other part of the country.
@GreenZoneSK Trash but I think they likely need to win 3 or 4 out of the last 7 to make the playoffs. Probably a must win if they want any chance at a home playoff game.
@FarhanLaljiTSN The Argos were rewarded for pinning the Riders on the 1 and forcing a punt from there. The game is about field position. There’s been many close games where kicking the ball through the end zone hasn’t been an option.
@rodpedersen Shea Patterson looked good to me. Looks like good competition at WR. I think Sterns stood out. On D Fagot made a great INT. Only concerns were the Dline got pushed around on the Strevler drive. Lauther wasn’t good either.
@JohnDHodge All three of those teams should be sitting at home. A 2 game home and home between BC and Winnipeg should settle the West the mediocrity shouldn’t be rewarded. There should be a victory threshold to get in the playoffs.
@sskroughriders That was disappointing but not surprising based on how poorly this team has played in the last month. Reminded me of the farewell game at the old stadium. No one’s job should be safe.
@tobi Because Canada has Canadian content laws for regular broadcasters. That basically subsidizes the “creative” industries that reside in Toronto and Montreal. Media companies in Canada are not doing well because they don’t produce things people watch. This is likely a shakedown.
