Remember them.
@Tim_Vickery Hang on Tim - the cards in that game were commencerate with the thuggery on the pitch. Paraguay got away with hell. You can’t under any circumstances compare the two.
@BillNeelyReport Some is undoubtedly right - but so much is utter tripe. The Matt Ritchie, Charlie Adam and James McArthur points are complete nonsense - Ritchie didn’t want to play, Adam wasn’t fit or good enough, and then McArthur retired from Scotland after getting a load of caps.
@obrien_jonathan That’s complete and utter bollocks mate. We had 7 corners all game and 5 shots on target - how the hell do you think we got them? Using the Force??
Scotland: What Are We Coached?
I am sorry for the negativity but we are:
> 3rd Lowest Scorers
> 8th Lowest Shots on Target
> 27th Best Accurate Passers
> 2nd Highest xG Against
So we are a team that can't create chances, can't control games & then can't defend when we turnover the ball.
We switched to this Back-4 & it was obvious, with all the Qualification evidence that it was a huge mistake and it's been proven.
Belarus, Greece and Denmark were all able to play through our press and it hasn't changed an ounce since those games:
> Huge Distances Between Lines
> Standing Off or Man for Man Clarity
> High-Line or Block Low
The fact the same errors happening between games that were 5 days apart is the biggest concern for me.
We have been at a camp for 4-weeks now and looked genuinely, so poorly instructed/coached.
A mentality swing is required, Clarke was the man to move us forward in 2018 but he isn't the man to take us forward in 2026.
This boy set up at station where all the school buses parked for the game. Must have cooked and served 1000 hot dogs. Didn't want a penny. Must have gave out 1000 cold beers as well. Wouldn't accept a penny.
I believe his name is Brian. Hero

A new mural of Scotland and Aston Villa’s John McGinn has appeared in his hometown of Clydebank.
The artwork can be found on Taylor Street, very close to where the midfielder grew up.

In January 2024, we unfortunately lost our son, Thomas Robert McKenzie, to miscarriage. As we approach the World Cup, Thomas would have been almost 2 years old and, alongside his sisters, we would have been looking forward to his first World Cup — buying the Scotland strips and showing him just how special a World Cup is for the Tartan Army.
Sadly, I’ll only be buying strips for my two girls, who mean the world to me.
I still wanted to do something to mark what would have been my first World Cup with my son, so I came up with the idea of raffling a Scotland World Cup hamper, with all proceeds going to @SandsUK in memory of Thomas.
The hamper includes everything you need for Scotland’s first World Cup appearance in 28 years:
* Scotland strip
* Scotland scarf
* World Cup bucket hat
* World Cup duck
* Men’s & Women’s World Cup gifting pack
* Snacks & refreshments
* Panini Sticker Album
* FourFourTwo World Cup special magazine
* A signed copy of @neildoherty1873@rowallantravel book about Scotland’s last appearance on the world stage at France ‘98, kindly donated by Neil himself
* A Just Eat takeaway voucher to complete the perfect match day
