@ChimeWhistle It remains a ambition, the platform is sadly not in a great spot, but the trackbed and drainage are in place still. As is the LRO. So definetly not outside the realms of possibility.

Its #ThrowbackThursday, this time we see RSH 7683 Meaford No1, is seen with a train at the newly opened Percy Main station🚂

📸The second view shows work on the extension- with 'California Sidings' platform under construction. This phase of the extension was sadly not completed.

Even though we aren't running trains at the moment, the work never stops!

A group of volunteers have been replacing sleepers. This is important work to make sure the track is in gauge ready for the running season

The P Class or J27 was the most common class based at Percy main shed

We are excited to announce that ‘Coffee Pot’ of 1871 will be visiting us from Beamish Museum for our Railway 200 Gala (25th & 26th Oct)!

Coffee Pot is one of the world’s oldest operational steam locomotives.
