@Shinbonerspod Why don’t north fans get the point of link up players like Spargo, Stephens, and Daniel? They’re not flashy, they occasionally get stuff wrong, but they’re a big reason north are now consistently winning games of footy. But north fans hate them.
@kangamerchant@ardenstreetnuff He never stopped trying, unlike past games. He dropped his head once or twice after missing yet another set shot. Too much talent not to come good eventually.
@theindextracker Some truth to it, but this is the first year in 10 that north has shown the ability to switch play styles in game. All the best teams can do that. It’s also the first year in 10 I have seen us be able to play tempo footy.
@Juryduty81 Mate. Our team was broken in two by Scott in 2017. Noble coached with so much negativity we had to start a second rebuild. What Clarkson has achieved in the three years after his tough first year was not inevitable. Slow, but building. There’s no magic bullet here.
@apreclife He’s a link up player in the to have vision and hit intermediate targets under pressure. It’s not sexy but it works, and it was part of the reason we won today and last week. He won’t be dropped.
Former North Melbourne captain Jy Simpkin says he has no regrets, and that he'd have left his social media posts relating to Paul Curtis' ban up if he had the choice, as the Roos stay in the hunt for finals. 📲🦘
