After a journey spanning more than three decades, today we say goodbye to a true Northiam 75 legend. JJ first joined the club as a 17-year-old lad with a love for the game, and today at the age of 53, he has pulled on the Northiam shirt for the final time.

Today also saw JJ presented with his well-deserved Player of the Decade award, pictured alongside manager Jules — recognition for not just the footballer he has been, but the person he has been around the club.

With a very good performance all round we found ourselves victorious against the 1sts.
With both goals coming from debutants, we showed great spirit and determination to grave our name on the cup.
