Yes — it’s that time of year again.
The cold’s back, temperatures drop, boilers start working harder… and the winter call-outs have already started. ❄️
The most common issues we see at this time of year are…

Most of these come down to one thing: heating systems under strain that haven’t been serviced early enough.

Most landlords don’t realise but there are strict legal timelines around deposit protection.
It’s often assumed that lodging the deposit is enough.
In reality, this is one of the most common issues we see when we take over management.
If the deposit isn’t protected correctly and the prescribed information isn’t served within 30 days, a tenant can make a claim — even years later.
