POWERFUL STORY: #Bengals star wide receiver Tee Higgins mother was shot in the head in 2005 and needed 160 screws placed in her skull.

She later overcame a 16-year crack addiction and has been sober since 2007.

Tee’s father spent most of his life in jail and passed away in 2022.

Higgins spoke about his life and childhood adversity:

“Whatever issue I’m having, it’ll never compare to what my mother went through.”

Despite everything stacked against him, Higgins persevered and became an #NFL star.
