Two Hour Delay on Feb 2. Forecasters are calling for freezing temperatures and continued drizzle/snow overnight that will produce potentially unsafe driving conditions in the morning. We will follow our calendar with a B Day tomorrow.

School is closed tomorrow Monday February 1, 2021. Given the snow accumulation we've received today combined with the forecast for a continued wintry mix through the night, Northstar Academy (both the Academic Campus and Career Academy) will be closed Monday February 1.

Delayed Opening - The low temperatures and wet roads have made for potentially unsafe driving conditions this morning. So, in the interest of safety and to allow ample time for cars and busses to navigate roads safely, Northstar will open for students with a 1 hour delay.

With the forecast for increasing rain and high winds expected this afternoon, Northstar Academy will close today at 12:00 pm. This includes virtual learning. Extended day will also be closed for the afternoon. We look forward to returning to campus and virtual learning Friday am.

Northstar Academy has suspended all on-campus student activities for March 13-27. We encourage families to reference the e-mail sent this afternoon for further details.

With the threat of impending weather including very high winds and rain, Northstar will close all facilities and programs at 1:00 pm today including our after care program.

With local forecasts calling for snow and/or freezing rain in the morning, Northstar Academy will start with a 2 hour delay Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

We will continue to monitor conditions and notify you of any changes as soon as possible.

As for tomorrow's schedule, temperatures are expected to remain well below freezing most of this evening and through the night. It is anticipated most of the accumulated snow/sleet/slush will refreeze. Given those factors, we will open at 11:00 am Tuesday, January 15

We've been keeping an eye on today's weather forecast. Temperatures are expected to dip below freezing after 5:00 pm when the sun goes down. Extended Care will close early today at 5:00 pm. Yearbook Club and Cardio Club will take place as scheduled and end at 4:00 pm.

***This is a change. After touring both campuses, while the lots look good, we want to give the sun and ice melt a little extra time. We will now open at 11:00 am (both campuses).

If your student attends CA in the morning then Academic Campus in the afternoon, they can report directly to the Academic Campus tomorrow morning Wednesday 12/12.

With temperatures expected to dip below freezing again tonight and snow expected to refreeze, Northstar will open with a delay at 11:00 am again Wednesday, 12/12/18. Students can begin arriving at 10:30 am for both campuses. 1/3

Northstar Academy (both NSA and CA) will open at 11:00 am tomorrow, Tuesday, 12/11/18. We will continue to monitor conditions throughout the evening and early morning and will notify you if there are any changes in the morning. Teachers should not report to school before 10:45
