The Norwegian author Karl-Ove Knausgård recently revealed that Bjørneboe’s History of Bestiality trilogy (Moment of Freedom, Powderhouse, The Silence) changed his life when he was a teenager. The trilogy is available in English, published by Norvik Press. https://t.co/eBAIuWJrEz

1. 2024 marks the ten year anniversary of the first ever #WITMonth. My hope was - and remains - to celebrate this milestone with a reflection on the past decade. However, things are taking a bit longer to get off the ground.
An adaptation of Selma Lagerlöf's Lord Arne's Silver is onstage at the Västanå Theatre in Rottneros, Sweden (22/6-7/9). Another good reason to read the novel, published in English by Norvik Press in 2011 (translated by Sarah Death, with a Preface by Helena Forsås-Scott)!
