@bannon1975 Had a student whose parents were so worried about making him read in class because he was “behind.” He raised his hand to read once and read fluently. Had a conference with mom and kid. He was faking not being able to read in 3rd grade because mom had a baby and he was jealous.

We may joke with each other about accents, but really Americans love all of the food and traditions other cultures bring.
