“What Plymouth’s players have done today is disrespectful, for me. They’ve won nothing and to celebrate against a team that has won everything is just not on.”
It's not even just about the red cards he gives, but also about the red cards he doesn't give. Oliver has taken Saudi money and been bent for years, and he's protected by the northern boys club that is PGMOL. It has never been about getting it right.
Throwback to when Michael Oliver refused to send off Kovacic against Arsenal because he didn’t want to “negatively influence” the game.
Easily the worst referee in the Premier League. 😭😭
You have never seen that red card before, and you will never see it again.
This is the face of the most corrupt referee in the most corrupt organization in world sport @FA_PGMOL
The Myles Lewis-Skelly red card was a shocker. Even more baffling that Joao Gomes only got a yellow card - his second and therefore he was sent off - for a worse-looking challenge. Never mind consistency over the course of a season, Michael Oliver doesn’t show it in the same game
If that trip by Myles Lewis-Skelly is considered Serious Foul Play then there will be a torrent of red cards every game. I’ve rewatched it 8 times now and it’s a trip and a yellow. Rediculous decision. #AFC#WOLARS
Michael Oliver didn’t send off Kovacic here because he didn’t want to have a negative influence on the game.
This is 10x worse than what we’ve just seen.
@BBCMOTD I have always said VAR needs a review system like cricket and tennis. Put the responsibility on the players to review fouls. The players know if it’s a genuine foul or not and hopefully it will stop the play acting by players too. Bring it in!!!
