@FinancialWaves@WiseAle2 The green line is $AMC's trajectory from the moment they became "the largest cinema chain in the world" to just BEFORE Covid AND the buy button removal.
The other chart is the trajectory of movie ticket sales.
What do you notice?
@RZG2020 It's not difficult to understand.
If you had a 50% stake in $CNK 5-yrs ago, you'd have a 50% stake in the company today.
If you had a 50% stake in $AMC 5-years ago, you'd have LESS than a 1% stake in the company today.
Analyze that for a minute...
@snipe_celly89 You're aware they only have ~200M shares left to issue, will have -LFCF FY2026, & the float will be 725M when notes are exchanged, right?
I mean, maybe the bottom was $.93, but what's the upside? It's a low margin biz, too fat to squeeze, & not exactly a groundbreaking industry.
@MatthewWal57743@Tony_Denaro Don't get me wrong, I like Tony & it's cool he's a "numbers guy" now, but this sensible Tony is relatively new. Don't care to look back, but maybe early 2023-ish is when he changed his playbook. And, again, good for him ๐ Prior to that, he was a sHoRtz R fUkT full-blown APE tho.
@SalvationTech2 Facts.
Pentwater 100% is not staying long on $AMC. They even have a specialized pooled arbitrage fund. Pentwater arbed the bonds, just like they arbed AMC:APE a few years ago when they even stuck around long enough to vote against @CEOAdam's comp package

@Lseeyalater@TheBaDonkeyKong@nakedjockman@grok what is the average volume traded per day for the stock market indices & what is the average move, up or down, as a %? And, how do those compare to $AMC's average volume and move, up or down as a %?
@daylightScott Your boy is NEVER right. He might be a lil bit re+arded even.
Only missed his $AMC 2025 "bottom line" projection by $500-$700 million & ever so slightly missed on his market cap estimate by a mere ~$7.5 BILLION.

@colin_gladman LoL, good point. $OKLO isn't exactly a risk-off safehaven

@iamthehulk86@Degen_Life_@annvandersteel He blocked me, but do not take a single word that Stefan Vilkstrom character speaks seriously. He is delusional & has ZERO idea what he's talking about. What you're witnessing with the AMC price action & volume is simply the noteholders repositioning.
Tutes are NOT "buying" long.
@colin_gladman Pretty sure the joke is on us.
They're laughing at us for thinking that they really believe all the nonsense & delusions.
It's an inside joke & we're the mark. I refuse to believe otherwise.
