(2) Why does Ebay customer service respond to customers without even reviewing the issue at hand?

@AskeBay I have some concerns about Ebay’s customer service. On Dec 23 I opened an Ebay account to purchase an item from a top seller. Within minutes of the purchase I received notice that my Ebay account had been indefinitely suspended, without explanation.

to confirm my account. A forth person then wrote back apologising for previous messages. Questions: (1) Is it common practise to suspend someone’s account without explanation, hoping they’ll submit additional info by their own accord?
