Director Grant Sputore paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Kaylee Hottle in a recent Instagram post.

‘Tragedy doesn't begin to cover this. I never got the chance to meet or work with Kaylee, but having recently been invited into the Monsterverse family, I know many who had the privilege. By all accounts, she was as wonderful a person as she was an actress.
Her impact on these films and the lives of all who met her is immeasurable. This is such a shocking, heartbreaking loss. My heart goes out to Kaylee and her family. 💔💔💔”
