NEW: Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) warns Oklahoma should not let public school educators teach the Bible.
"I want it to be taught by someone that was taught the Bible themselves, too. I think it’s a slippery slope when you put it in the hands of teachers that may not be believers, that’s going to be teaching the word that can easily be taken out of context."
Do you think he is right?
@BlackLabelAdvsr Virtual church is not church. Ekklesia (church) means “gathering” and you can’t gather if you are dispersed. Dispersion is a curse on the unfaithful. Gathering is an expression of the faithful. This is not rocket science.
@LostMyHats I liked the interview. When anyone starts talking history it’s always subjective, unfortunately, but your biblical views on Zionism were spot on. Great job.
When Jimmy Carter purchased the teachers’ union’s endorsement in 1979 by establishing the Department of Education, the USA was #1 in education.
46 years and $4.1 trillion dollars later, the USA is #40. We are, however, #1 in cost per student.
If you see people upset at Karmelo Anthony being found guilty of murder, understand something. It's not because they thought he was innocent. They're just upset the jury made a ruling that you can't just stab White people in the heart and not go to prison.
That's what it's about.
@SenJohnCurtis The nation of Israel today, great allies as they may be, are not the biblical Israel. Just because Christ is in the name of the LDS group, that doesn’t automatically make them Christian.
