He was just 5 years old.

His OWN FATHER kicked down the door, stormed into the Khalil's bedroom, and st*bbed him to de*th before leaving and heading to Taco Bell in North Carolina.

His mother held him as he passed away in her arms.

The father's name is Jehaaz-Akil Khaliq Echoles, he has been arrested 10 times with over 20 charges, including at least 3 "assault on a female" charges.

He was out on a $5,000 bond at the time of the m*rder for assaulting a woman in MARCH OF THIS YEAR for HITTING HER IN THE FACE WITH CAR KEYS.

🚨 Abdul Karim Mustafa just turned the Wilson County Courthouse steps into a battlefield.

He ambushed a 19-year-old a woman walking out and shot her multiple times. Then he opened fire on police officers responding to the scene.

The young woman is in critical condition, fighting for her life. The officers are stable.

This is what happens when jihadis like Abdul Karim Mustafa bring their incompatible brand of violence into American communities. Whether homegrown or imported, the pattern is unmistakable and deadly.

I left Alabama. I am in Georgia now.

At 3 a.m. I saw a yellow sign glowing beside the highway.

Waffle House.

I went in. The parking lot was full. At 3 a.m.

I asked the waitress when they close.

She looked at me the way you look at a child who has asked when gravity ends.

She said, "We don't close, baby."

Two things happened in that sentence.

One: I learned Waffle House has never closed. Not at night. Not on Christmas. Not during hurricanes.

Two: she called me "baby."

I am a grown man. I have a mortgage. It repaired something in me I did not know was broken.

I ordered hash browns.

She said, "Scattered, smothered, covered, chunked, diced, peppered, capped, or topped?"

I did not understand a single word in that sentence.

I said, "Yes."

She nodded and wrote it down. Apparently that was a correct answer.

Then I learned something, and I need you to know I did not invent this.

The United States government measures the strength of hurricanes by whether the Waffle House is open.

Open: the storm is fine.

Limited menu: the storm is serious.

Closed: evacuate. It is over.

This is called the Waffle House Index. FEMA uses it. FEMA. The disaster agency.

Japan built earthquake satellites. America watches a diner.

Both systems work.

At 3 a.m., the Waffle House contained: two truck drivers. A nurse still in scrubs. Four teenagers in prom clothes. One man who had clearly made several mistakes that evening. And one Japanese man with a notebook.

Nobody asked anybody why they were there.

At Waffle House, being there is the answer.

Then a man at the counter noticed my Alabama shirt. It was a gift. Long story.

He did not speak. He pointed at the shirt and shook his head slowly, the way you correct someone in church.

Then he said, quietly: "Go Dawgs."

I panicked and used the only word I own.

"Roll Tide."

Every fork in the building stopped.

The cook looked up from the eggs.

The waitress said, "Baby, no."

I understand now. Every state here has its own word. My word is from one state ago.

The man bought my waffle anyway.

He said, and I am quoting him exactly: "You didn't know. Bless your heart."

I have been told that phrase has two meanings.

Think about history for a second. During the slave trade, what was the one thing punishable by death? Teaching a slave to read. Why? Less than half of American adults read a single book in 2022. It’s so bad that a staffer at Harvard actually complained that assigning books to students is "arbitrarily withholding information" because it forces them to use a "difficult medium." Let that sink in. IVY LEAGUE STUDENTS have a hard time reading something and then paraphrasing it.

If we stop reading, we go straight back to the dark ages. We'll be sitting around waiting for a government agency or an AI script to tell us what the Constitution means through a paraphrased post on X.

This is Jamey Carney, a 43-year-old woman from New York who became involved in the pro-Palestinian movement and decided to move to Ireland.

There she met her partner, Ahmad Al-Saqar, a Palestinian refugee from Jordan, and converted to Islam. She frequently posted on social media about their trips together.

It didn’t last long. She was brutally beaten to death by him. Her disfigured body was found by her 13-year-old daughter. The suspect has been on the run since Tuesday.

Over the last few days I have watched countless Roman Catholics claim that the Holy Spirit is the “spouse” of Mary, with some even describing the virginal conception as Mary being “impregnated” by the Spirit.

But let’s be theologically precise: the Incarnation of Jesus Christ was a divine miracle, not a sexual or spousal act. When Catholics describe the Holy Spirit’s work in Mary as though it were literal impregnation, they make the Spirit sound more like Zeus descending upon a mortal woman for sexual intercourse rather than the Almighty God performing a holy act of creation.

Luke 1:35 is not pagan mythology. It is divine creative power. The Holy Spirit “overshadowed” Mary; He did not become her husband.

We can all agree that Mary was blessed among women because she bore the incarnate Son. But the Spirit did not “marry” her, and the miracle of the virgin birth should not be explained in language that confuses Trinitarian theology and collapses into pagan categories.

Her name was Calli Toler.

She was 6 years-old.

She in the back of her mom's car on the way to lunch and then the pool in North Carolina when a 33-year-old illegal immigrant, Jaime Santiago Corona, ran a stop sign in a Dodge Ram truck and T-boned their vehicle.

Calli passed away at the scene.

Her mom and her 4-year-old brother are in the hospital with serious injuries.

It was revealed that Corona was driving on a REVOKED license and he had already been deported...

Jezebel was a Phoenician princess who married Ahab, king of Israel, and brought the worship of Baal with her.

She led God’s people into idolatry (1 Kings 16:31–33). She killed the Lord’s prophets and hunted Elijah (1 Kings 18–19). She used deception and abuse of power to destroy an innocent man, forging letters in the king’s name and arranging false witnesses to have Naboth executed for his vineyard (1 Kings 21). And she dominated a weak king who stood by and let her do it.

Elijah prophesied that dogs would devour her (1 Kings 21:23). And in 2 Kings 9 it happens. She is thrown from a window, trampled, and eaten by dogs.

But her name makes it into the New Testament, when Jesus rebukes the church in Thyatira for tolerating “that woman Jezebel” who calls herself a prophetess and leads believers into immorality and idolatry (Revelation 2:20).

Why? Because the story of Jezebel is about a pattern. An era. False authority that infiltrates from within, seduces God’s people away from truth, silences genuine voices (the prophets), manufactures lies (the sealed letters, the false witnesses, the legal proceeding), and thrives wherever those who can stop her are passive.

What Jezebel represents is so important that we are warned about it by Christ in Revelation. And the warning isn’t aimed at the Jezebel or the deceiver. It’s aimed at those who tolerate the deceptions.

We live in a time when influential voices build massive followings by mixing truth with fabrication, by destroying innocent people’s reputations with nothing more than vibes. They get rich from it. And audiences and institutions tolerate it because confrontation is costly.
By the time of Revelation, Jezebel had been dead for roughly 900 years. Jesus wasn’t confused about the timeline. He took a dead queen’s name and applied it to a living deception, because Jezebel had become a spirit that recurs. An era.
And the Jezebel era is easy to spot if you read Kings.

Truth is inverted. Baal was enthroned where Yahweh belonged. Isaiah 5:20 describes this: calling evil good and good evil, darkness light and light darkness.

The truth-tellers are attacked relentlessly. The prophets were killed or driven into caves, and even Elijah ends up under the broom tree wanting to die, convinced he is the only one left. A Jezebel era doesn’t just spread lies. It demoralizes the truth-tellers until they become silent.

Those in power are too passive. Ahab knew, and did nothing to stop her. The era isn’t sustained by the deceiver alone but by everyone with authority who finds it easier to look away, or by anyone who has the power to push back and doesn’t.

But God always keeps a remnant.

Seven thousand who did not bow the knee to Baal (1 Kings 19:18).

Because Jezebel eras don’t get reformed. They get overthrown. And as we learn in Revelation, the time to repent is given, and then it runs out.

Well we are in the Jezebel era. And the only way out is through. That’s why people have to fight for truth, judge those they listen to by the fruits those people produce, pray for and exercise discernment, and be the remnant.
