People like to complain about anything. No one likes the rules. It’s not tailored to TCG. It’s not tailored to OCG. It’s just the rules for Worlds. No crying in the casino.
World Championship level players. The best of the best. Using time as an excuse to losing. Lol. “I went 0-7 because of 7 double losses not my fault” brother you are the best of the best. This is not locals. this is the Yugioh World Championships. Have some respect. There is no shame in losing with your sword in your hand. It’s admirable. You did your best. But to complain about time or say some stupid shit like “TCG players had an advantage” is pathetic and embarrassing.
How to fix the TCG/OCG viewing experience in 2 steps🧵
1) Unified TCG/OCG format. One of the biggest issues conceptually with worlds, is that it’s not a format that matters in the grand scheme of things. The banlist is different and the rules are different
It’s crazy how miserable the TCG worlds watching experience is compared to Master Duel. Master Duel feel so incredibly hype and fun and paper just feel meh
I have come to the conclusion that Duel Links is the best format in Yu-Gi-Oh. Skills fix a lot of the major problems that standard have. The going second feels super balanced because of skills. No need to worry about consistency because of skills. Every game feels played. 10/10
This year’s Fields Medalist, Yu Deng , is actually a yuri fan.
