@milktst I liked the story but gameplay was a slog, especially after playing in release order and like a day after 4 a couple of months ago, the stealth mechanics suck, the bosses are meh and worst of all the grind, I don't mind the zadarnov mission but I didn't enjoy the necessary grind

@SynthPotato pc gaming is a big part of why, even when you run a game at 30fps on a pc but play it with a controller, the way you control the camera is way smoother and slower compared to mouse and keyboard

@funnym0th @PlipThePlop Metal gear originally released on MSX and the NES port of the game is widely considered the inferior version to the MSX one. One of the reasons being is that you don't actually fight the metal gear itself at the end of the NES version, but a stationary computer.

@Squarezum I would even say MG1 is still great. I've been playing the series for the first time myself recently, starting with MG1 and going in the release order, it's amazing to see how the mechanics have evolved throughout the years, having finished snake eater today
