Corona cases increase across NMIMS campuses, But no immediate preventive measures like online classes. Instead of ensuring that no one gets covid, they wait until someone gets sick, and then expect students to take covid tests & miss attendance if they want to protect health.

YIKES. Remote proctors are sending unsolicited communication to the students they watch.

DISCLAIMER: Do note that this is a problem almost exclusive to the services that use live people to watch you in real-time. Proctorio in specific doesn’t widely use live proctoring...

Suvam claimed he had “sources” from whence he got her number and he wanted to talk to her. This is just one of the 9 cases that we know of and there is a chance that we haven’t heard about all the cases!

We are referring to the cases of online harassment that have come up in the last 2 days and are increasing by the hour. The first case was very bravely shared by @divyanshi151 who shared the fact her proctor, Suvam Biswas. He reached out to her on WhatsApp.

@nmims_india Sure celebrate your 18th University day while your students were either getting harrassed by proctors they couldn't see or could not give the exam itself and now have to sit thru it again despite it not being their fault.

Irresponsible behaviour of management.
