We are protesting the racial incidents occurring on @SyracuseU campus and the administration’s lack of transparency and complicity with white supremacy.
Editorial: With plans to return to in-person instruction, UCLA has blatantly ignored pleas for hybrid learning options – unfairly forcing Bruins to choose between their health and their education. | via @DBOpinion https://t.co/Ow76STo4xT
TONIGHT ON @CitrusTVNews: #NotAgainSU is asking Syracuse University professors to strike from in-person instruction until SU administration approves formal online learning models.
An update on their activism, from my exclusive interview with @notagain_su.
At Syracuse University last year, @notagain_su demanded the disarming of DPS - toward eventual abolition. https://t.co/pXUtPhA5NT
Many administrators/academics who will circulate statements on #Minneapolis in the coming days have not concretely supported that demand or movement.
#NotAgainSU called for disarming DPS and a third-party investigation on which both students and administration agree.
SU administrators chose this investigator - they would never seek out and pay an investigator that releases damning, truthful information about DPS or the admin.
Just found out about this. A year ago 30 mostly Black students were locked in an administrative building for almost 4 days w/ no heat or food. What do you have to say, @SyracuseU?
Today, Feb. 17th, 2021 makes a year since the start of our Crouse-Hinds Hall occupation which lasted 32 days. Since the end of our sit-in, we have all witnessed massive Black and Indigenous-led movements for abolition, defunding the police, land back, along with movements (1/3)
Here is our most recent update with our movement and our work. Please read our statement in its entirety. Thank you all for your continuous solidarity. #NotAgainSU (3/3)
