I have a B&N within a 10 minute drive of my home, and have to drive over 100 miles to buy in-person books at The Last Bookstore in L.A., where they cater to a diverse crowd of readers, not parents buying franchise merch for children.

@7_inch_single With ER being an anime, I might be more forgiving, though; I recognize that the medium frequently only gives a single serving of a setting, and it's become a familiar territory. I've waited years for a follow-up to "Witch Hunter Robin" for this reason.

@7_inch_single With Lovecraft Country, that felt incomplete; a story left unfinished. At least with CP2077:ER, it was a self-contained story, as much as V's was from the game. Edgerunners feels like a tidy snapshot of the dangers of Night City, a setting we can explore in other ways.
