I got into supporting Arsenal around 2004/05 after my grandmother showed me a highlight of Arsenal vs Everton on the telly. She said “this is the team that plays the best football.” She was also a big fan of the Brazil national team (who wasn’t). And in 2006, she became bedridden, eventually developing Alzheimer’s and passing away. But the only reason I’m an Arsenal fan is because of her. And even though unfortunately her memory faded, the impression of Arsenal never left my life. And it’s not just me, this is millions of Arsenal fans worldwide who have their own origin story of how they became Arsenal fans. I know you’re watching from above Grandma, we just won the league
