All I’m reading regarding Dallas’ elimination has been so one dimensional and, quiet frankly, kinda lazy. You can’t blame Paige Bueckers for this elimination. Not when despite the really bad shooting (21.4% FG, yikes) she contributed on all ends of the court with 6 ast, 2 stl, 2 blk and 1 reb in addition to her 17 pts. All while controlling the ball well with only one turnover. What happened today is something we have seen the whole season from Dallas. They open a two-digit lead and then let the other team take over. And who was holding things down for them? Bueckers. Also, saying she’s not made for big moments? I’m sorry, isn’t she a NCAA champion? I’m not defending Bueckers. No, she’ll need to learn from it. But the criticism I’m seeing is so out of proportion.
