Oxfam condemns in the strongest terms the killing in Gaza today of 4 water engineers working with our partner on their way to repair water infrastructure. They had coordinated their movements with Israeli authorities and were traveling in a marked vehicle. https://t.co/0f7Jyswt2A
when my family and i went to gaza in the 90s and the zionist soldiers at the border crossing didn't let me, a little girl, use the bathroom, so my mom had to cover me as i went behind a billboard and they watched from across the road.
Israel killed four aid workers in a marked car who had coordinated their movements with the Israeli authorities.
Here’s what Israeli general - and advisor to Israel’s defence minister - Giora Eiland wrote one year ago.
Everyone knows that 42k is the number of martyrs who arrived at the hospital as complete bodies and whose identities were confirmed.
And everyone knows that those who were torn to pieces and those who went missing far exceed the number of those who were martyred with their bodies intact.
According to a research study published by the British medical journal "The Lancet," 8% of Gaza's population has been killed by Israel, which is approximately 186k people.
Moreover, the birth of children in Gaza does not give you an excuse to kill their parents, and then kill them as well.
What is happening in Gaza is worse than genocide.
The horror Israel is bringing on the entire population of northern Gaza is inhumane. It is pure evil and a war crime that humanity should not tolerate. This massacre should be faced with a decisive international action to stop it immediately, including through imposing an arms embargo and effective sanctions. Israel is starving hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, bombing entire neighborhoods out of existence, burning displaced children in tents, and destroying hospitals. It is brutally terrorizing the whole population to push them out of their homeland. The Security Council and all members of the international community should not allow this barbaric crime to continue for one more minute. Failure to stop this massacre is a shame on the whole international community. The Israeli government is continuing with its inhumane war crimes because the world is allowing it to. The impunity must end. Israeli occupation forces should not be allowed to burn any more Palestinian children alive, should not be allowed to commit any more murders and destroy any more schools or hospitals. There is no justification for the failure by the international community and its institutions to protect the innocent, stop the ethnic cleansing, implement international law and ensure justice.
A reminder that the current Israeli assaults on civilian infrastructure in Lebanon are intentional & premeditated.
Seeing the usual lies ("Hezbollah sites") being circulated in western media is frustrating but not unexpected.

My @Channel4News report on Israel’s relentless pounding of northern Gaza. It took a remarkably brave and persistent cameraman to get these pictures out to us. The world cannot say that it didn’t see. Or know. https://t.co/6NY4bDjw8l
In a statement, Oxfam strongly condemned the killing of four water engineers and workers from Khuzaa municipality in Gaza, who were collaborating with the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility (CMWU).
The Palestinian engineers were killed while on their way to repair water infrastructure in Khuzaa, east of Khan Yunis, when their clearly-marked vehicle was bombed, despite prior coordination with Israeli authorities.
Israel has announced plans to strike Hizbullah’s "economic power" tonight, specifically Qard al-Hasan and potentially other civilian institutions, alleging that they are "used to finance Hizbullah's terror activities." But these strikes don’t actually target Hizbullah’s finances or Iran’s funding, but the economic lifeline of over 300,000 Lebanese who not only deposit their savings with the non-profit NGO but also rely on it for interest-free loans.
While Iran helped establish the organization in the 1980s, it is now entirely self-funded, overwhelmingly by Lebanon’s Shia community. Since Lebanon’s 2019 economic collapse and the meltdown of its banking system, Qard al-Hasan has become vital for everything from paying school fees to funding small businesses and installing solar panels. The NGO serves all communities: at the St. Therese branch near Hadath, 30-40% of clients are Christian, and in Sidon, the majority are non-Shia.
Although Qard al-Hassan has announced that it has safeguarded people's deposits and savings since the war began, Israel's actions amount to a strategy aimed at further impoverishing Lebanon's already vulnerable and largely displaced Shia community, as approximately 85% of depositors and borrowers are Shia. This collective punishment represents socioeconomic erasure layered onto physical erasure, as Israel aims to kill, uproot, and immiserate Hizbullah’s support base.
Something people don’t know about Gaza is that before this genocide began, the daily wage was $2.50 for an entire day’s work. This means that the houses being destroyed were built with the sweat and blood of their owners; for many, it took them ten years to build their homes. Yet Israeli occupation forces come and blow them up in seconds, posting videos of themselves as if it’s a hunting game for them. The Israeli occupation forces have no limit to their evil. ( recent pictures from Jabalia)
Imagine yourself in the place of this elderly man who is pleading with the Red Cross and the entire world to save him now, as he remains trapped under the rubble after the occupation army bombed his house on top of him. His entire family is beside him, but they have all been martyred.
This elderly man is in northern Gaza, where the occupation forces have surrounded the area and are preventing ambulances from reaching the house.
What sorrow, oppression, and injustice we are living !!
A plea to the whole world: save us.
the United States doesn’t want the world to see its special forces on the ground helping Israel murder unarmed civilians. Right now, American troops are on the ground in Jabalia, committing atrocities we will learn about later from survivors!
