Learning academia English is hard, learning academia Spanish is even harder.

So I’m looking for advice on how to approach this decision or if anybody had a similar choice. My classmates suspect that this was only implemented because of Covid and clinics not wanting to accept students. So there may possibly not be enough clinic sites.

Need some advice #MedStudentTwitter #MedTwitter My school usually gives us early clinical experience starting 1st year. We go to a primary care clinic 2x a week for 1/2 day and basically be a MA and maybe be more involved in patient care like 3rd/4th year depending on preceptor.

I’m torn which one to choose. I want to do the traditional experience and get more comfortable with patient interactions. But also I like the idea of taking more of a public health approach and getting to implement interventions or create resources that could lead to better care

I’m big mad our school is making us pay for our drug test when normally we wouldn’t pay for it since it’d be done during orientation. Plus potentially making us take an hour and a half out of our busy schedules to drive to the lab make me want to punch them.

I have no idea what I’m doing for histology class. I do the prep but we have no quizzes or tests for another month so I can’t really tell if I’m learning what I need to know.

Binged through all 4 seasons of LOK this week cause I have no self control and wouldn’t put it down to study. So I stayed up late to finish it because the faster I got through it the faster I’d get back to being productive.
