On August 5, 1989, Casey Rose Bohun, just 3 years old, disappeared from her home in Delta, British Columbia, Canada.

The last time she was seen, she was sleeping in her bed at 5:38 a.m. By 9:30 a.m., she was gone. She was never seen again.

Four years later, a witness claimed to have seen her in Kamloops, but the investigation stalled. In 2001, Casey's mother committed suicide by jumping off a bridge. The case was practically closed.

In February 2004, biometric analysis confirmed that Casey appeared in the photographs on the Zandvoort pedophile ring's CD-ROM.

The comparison confirmed a 90% match. Her image was part of the archive of one of the largest child pornography networks uncovered in Europe.

A 3-year-old girl who disappeared in Canada ended up in the files of an international pedophile network based in the Netherlands. Someone abused her, photographed her, and distributed the images within that network.

Casey Bohun was not just a missing child. She was yet another victim of an international abuse network that operated with impunity and whose evidence continued to surface years later in files that European authorities refused to share promptly.
