@jonbecker I was in the market for a new one. I went to wirecutter to see what they recommend. I bought their top choice and have been happy with it. https://t.co/DONdS9xQ0t
@ChicagoLeah Sending hugs. So many people expect the feel "better" when treatment is done. Sadly, the effects of treatment linger. Have you tried asking for PT? My medical office has a couple of PT who specialize in post cancer rehab. That might help; n BTW, I LOVE Hannah's Bretzels!
To say our union is outraged would be an understatement. Overturning Roe opens the door to the further imposition of government into people's lives, and threatens rights like access to contraception, gay marriage and other freedoms that can no longer be taken for granted.
So let me get this straight. A state has the right to restrict abortions, but doesn’t have the right to restrict firearms? Is that what we have now in these “United” States?
@jenwagner I had mine yesterday. I suspect we are going to be changing up the protocol because it looks like additional sites have cropped up. I meet with oncologist on Monday morning. :( Sending you prayers that your results are better.
A decade ago, CPS had 454 libraries. Now there are less than 100.
Student-based budgeting has decimated libraries.
And students will go without good librarians (and SPED teachers, and technology coordinators) because of the incompetence of Mayor Lightfoot’s CPS budget process.
@JeffSolin My experience: a school district that seemingly always seeks strong, committed talent in and out of the classroom, yet simultaneously flushes out that talent through an absolute dependency on nonsensical hierarchy.
Stifling for sure, and yet it does not have to be this way.
