I've been away from Twitter for a while, but came back to check on something. And then I'm greeted with an absolutely vile take like "understanding Hitler". I'll be leaving twitter again thanks.
@ThoughtSlime In South Africa cigarettes and alcohol were illegal during lockdown. It was WILD. The illegal cigarette trade went crazy and people were trying to DIY their own alcohol.
So my power finally came back at 6pm, and I was finally able to wash my rug after Stella got sick on it. Sky was clear today so I thought it would be fine to leave it outside to dry overnight. Reader, I just noticed that it's now pouring with rain. I would like just one win.
Feeling very fragile at the moment. The reality that in just a few months I will be leaving my childhood home behind and I'll never be able to come back. It's a lot.
