I deeply miss the world before AI existed. I’m so exhausted from side eyeing videos, recoiling at tacky fonts, sepia tinted art, the messy blobs and blips of unmatched colors. It’s slowly sucking all the creative life out of the world while it physically destroys it.
I hope the rise of AI has been enough to show you that even SMALL business owners are still oppurtinistic capitalists with no morals who believe all their employees and customers are brainless cattle.
Having a partner and reaching that point where them being naked in front of you makes you feel a little horny but instead of wanting to do something, you're just happy. See them with their ass out in the kitchen, go "this is incredible" and then sit on the couch

Yesterday in the OPD, I saw a 23-year-old girl who looked like she was carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. She barely spoke, just kept her head down, hiding behind her hair.
Her mother didn't hold back:
"Doctor, she’s become so lazy. She locks herself in her room all day and doesn't even bother to groom herself. My neighbour told me that if she just went to the beauty parlour every week and maintained herself, all this acne and hair would go away. She just refuses to try."
The girl’s hands were shaking as she gripped her dupatta.
I asked the mother to wait outside. The second the door closed, the girl's facade collapsed. She pulled out a small pouch from her bag. Inside were three different "miracle" acne creams she had secretly ordered from Instagram influencers.
"I spent my pocket money on these in secret because I'm so ashamed," those were her exact words.... Then she added that every single morning, she wakes up an hour early just to use tweezers on her chin so her family won't see the hair.
She continued: "The hair on my head is falling out in clumps. I lock my door because I can't stand to see my own reflection, let alone have a beautician look at me."
This is the heartbreak of PCOD that we don't talk about enough.
It’s not just irregular cycles. It is:
Hirsutism & Alopecia: A cruel trade-off where you grow hair where you don't want it and lose it where you do.
Metabolic Sabotage: Insulin resistance making belly fat nearly impossible to lose, no matter how much you groom.
The "Influencer" Trap: Desperate girls buying unverified, often harmful products because they are too ashamed to seek medical help.
I had to explain to her mother that PCOD is a complex endocrine disorder involving the HPO axis and insulin resistance. It’s a medical condition, not a character flaw or a lack of parlour visits. No amount of waxing or Instagram creams can fix a systemic hormonal imbalance.
We started her on a proper medical regimen addressing the insulin resistance and the androgen excess but more importantly, we addressed the guilt.
To my fellow doctors: Look for the "secret creams" and the "tweezers ritual." The emotional scarring of PCOD is often deeper than the physical ones.
To the families: Stop listening to the neighbours. Your daughter doesn't need a beautician; she needs a doctor who understands that her body is at war with itself.
Americans are being killed in the street by their government. Our Constitution is being shredded and our rights are dissolving. Resist.
Senate Dems should block ICE funding this week. Activate the National Guard.
We can and must stop this.
