I don’t know how this I’ll go, but that second line would be fun
@emma_lingan I think Marchessault is gone. Kemell isn’t an NHL player at this point, he and Martin go to MKE. Schaefer and Wiesblatt are either gone or admirals
@BryanBastin some doofus called me at work and i didn't get to complete my thought. I think with bringing in drury, kerfoot, colton, it's probably the end of wiesblatt and schaefer as every day players, more so than it being a sign they're blowing up and moving Stamkos or ROR
@BryanBastin i think the only veteran with a remote chance of moving is Marchessault. MAYBE O'Reilly, but i'd be surprised, given his ability to be a good influence on younger players.
@WillyD1025 I personally only found myself frustrated by how much time he and McCarron got -- each a fine player, but on the ice it meant just accepting that you were going to be living in the defensive end at even strength, but as individuals I liked both players and am happy they're paid.
@MarkLazerus Nashville fan here. Beloved teammate and an absolute warrior on the ice. He won't provide any offense, but he's an A+ penalty killer and even a decent fighter if called upon. Good signing.
@AngryPredsFan@BryanBastin Suspect Marchessault's time is done. My NHL forwards are: Forsberg, Stamkos, O'Reilly, Evangelista, Wood, Bourque, Colton, Drury, Pinchuk, Hoglander, and then two of:
Wiesblatt, Schaefer, Edstrom, Martin, maybe O'Hara or Kemell get a look.
@AlexDaugherty1 Marchessault likely traded or even bought out, Kemell's light is fading and is virtually guaranteed to be in Milwaukee. Martin will be there too, neither of Wiesblatt or Schaefer is an every day player and likely rotate in and out, spending time scratched. Pinchuk the wild card
@shaynagoldman_ I started thinking about this when NSH signed Jack drury to a 4x4.5 deal. If the top players used to make 8 or 9 per, which escalated to 10-11 per, and is now 13-15 per — isn’t it expected bottom six players rise proportionally? A good bottom 6 might just cost 4M now
@ManUtdFan_80 i don't even feel strongly about this, but these sorts of pissbaby takes make me gleeful in how badly it annoys people like you.
PS: The name "soccer" is not an american derivation -- originated in England as a nickname for "association" in association football.
@MbabuFUT please like my sport humor is near the very bottom. can we also get some pictures of soccer players clutching their leg pasted next to gregory campbell blocking shots with a broken leg. Let's really go for it here.
@WHLGiants@PredsNHL I was talking to someone about this possibility the other day, @OnTheFuturePBR maybe? I think this is a good move for this player if he comes over and plays in the WHL next season.
