🚨 | Max Verstappen on the prospect of a Ferrari move:
"I only want to win, I'm not a nostalgic type.
"Do I have a lot of respect for the [Ferrari] brand? Absolutely.
"But if that means you commit yourself and are driving in P5 or P6, what's the point?"
🚨 Mercedes reportedly KNEW George Russell’s engine was being pushed to its limit.
The power unit that failed in Malaysia had been in use since Hungary and Mercedes deliberately kept it running as part of a long-term reliability test for its 2027 development.
The downside? Russell has effectively paid the price.
Singapore is a terrible place to take a fresh engine penalty, meaning Mercedes may either risk an older unit again or wait until Austin and send George to the back of the grid.

It’s hilarious how the media dig into City’s sponsor agreements but show zero interest in the commercial logic behind Man United’s deals.
In 2021, TeamViewer sponsored Man United for €55m on revenues of ~€500m – over 10% of total revenue. For context, that’s like Vodafone sponsoring United for €7bn a season.
No one asked how a 2,000‑person business could afford a €235m contract with Manchester United. Was that at fair market value (FMV), given no other prestige brand was willing to pay that?
Equally, how does a €500m business make an ROI case on a sponsorship worth almost half its annual revenues? Where’s the business case?
Remember when Chevrolet’s Global Marketing Director, Joel Ewanick, was forced to resign shortly after overpaying for the United deal? Reuters and The Wall Street Journal (cited by the Los Angeles Times) reported GM’s concern that Ewanick hadn’t properly vetted or internally reported the financial details of Chevrolet’s Manchester United sponsorship. Any investigation into FMV?
The criticism centred on the speed and cost of the escalation from a five‑year automotive partnership (announced May/June 2012) to the far larger seven‑year shirt‑front deal starting in 2014–15.
No Premier League investigation here? Of course not.
@FootballFunnys Yes, exactly that's what we have been saying for the last 2 decades!! Just add the #GlazersOut buddy to have maximum reach on your post
The Congress IT cell really screwed up yesterday. The party has lost a lot of momentum gained from some good work, executed on the back off the exemplary action by the Cockroach Janta Party. Instead of building on the enormous public response to CJP’s Mumbai protests, it chose to attack CJP and amplify far less consequential issues.
From beginning to finally look mature and formidable, it came across as a bitter, insecure and needlessly competitive ecosystem. We all saw how, from the start, it refused to protest with the CJP. But these scathing attacks now suggest a lack of confidence and grace.
Come on, guys. This is not the time to compete with a movement that is clearly striking a chord with people. Don’t squander your own momentum trying to undermine theirs.
Ian Wright saying City’s owners “don’t care about anything” and the club was always a “vanity project” is so, so laughably ignorant.
What about £700m invested in East Manchester, 14,000 jobs supported, bringing a major entertainment venue to the city and now a stadium expansion?
Undoubtedly Congress because it never threatened the idea of India. Congress may have mismanaged India, but BJP ruined it. Congress’ mismanagement made us angry, BJP’s evilness has made us hopeless. Congress was never a threat to India, and wasn’t a stooge of America.
So if City's owners had borrowed massively and just loaded the club with debt, over the period in question, the club would still have had all their success, but would not have these charges hanging over them.
Just take a moment to think about that one.
It's bizarre.
