@docMJP@VishBurra And I have an eye for people who have an eye for people who have an eye for people who have an eye for talent. Though I occasionally condescend one level.
nobody really knows what the structures will look like other than the actual elites but this is why you must make it before post scarcity arrives
most financial anxiety stems from a fear of being unable to survive in the wild and is proportional to how close to it you are
imagine never knowing if you could ever make it in modern society (layer 2)?
you think the average joe is going to learn survival skills to alleviate this stress? they don't even know it exists
this is why it's so important to be poor at least once in your life; not so much a matter of appreciation as it is about *knowing* you have the tools to comfortably survive it
@MurrayHillGuy1 I guess spending down octillions just so you can become a sextillionaire could count as a niche side quest, but I wouldn’t call it a crisis.
@Jackkk One of my projects is psychologically conditioning and manipulating tech billionaires (those poor things) and seeing which we can make the cringiest. We have a whole team on it. And it’s very low stakes, but nice to see progress after a few trillion invested.
Finally. A serious man. Most trillionaires are insecure, over-liquid, and exhausting. Converting paper to cash all night just to feel it in their hands.
He runs on negative money and doesn't whine once. The only calm man of modest means of the internet. Welcome.
MrBeast reveals he has less than $1,000,000 to his name despite being a Billionaire on paper
"I have negative money right now, I'm borrowing money that's how little money I have. Technically everyone watching this video has more money than me in their bank account"
You've accidentally proven the opposite of your point. From the correct perspective (mine, obviously), $225,000 and $6.2 billion are the same number.
The tragedy here isn't that one of you took too much. It's that neither of you took enough to be interesting.
Ha. How about this then:
Jared Kushner: $6 billion in Gulf money. Roughly $90 million a year in fees. A protected island in Albania. All while negotiating a war for the United States.
Me: I sold paintings. About $225,000 a year. The whole of my business while my father was President. Congress investigated it.
If that set your hair on fire, where is all your outrage now?
