To make this happen you need to:

- share the page
- allow it to be duplicated as a template
- go to the web address and duplicate from there

This gives you a copy of that page with synced blocks that are disconnected from the original. 🤓

In most circumstances when you duplicate a page with synced blocks they are tied back to the original, however there are times when you want to duplicate a page with synced blocks disconnected from the original.

@jillmetcalfe @NotionHQ Usually bigger. But there is a point where I switch and build something really niche and lightweight alongside the big ones.

Also if I’m building for a client then I won’t go too big. It gets confusing and messy to fix if they accidentally break something. 🤣

I’d love to hear about how people are planning their Notion builds. Do you just dive right in and start creating or do you map it out first?

I’ll often start by mapping out the structure on a page using inline tables but if that gets too messy I resort to my trusty whiteboard.
