@NotionMolly Did you sort it mate?
You need to add this bit of code
window.CONFIG.domainBaseUrl = "https://t.co/Mrscbqkl1J“;
Check this thread.

To make this happen you need to:
- share the page
- allow it to be duplicated as a template
- go to the web address and duplicate from there
This gives you a copy of that page with synced blocks that are disconnected from the original. 🤓

I learnt something about duplicating synced blocks today. 🔗
In most circumstances when you duplicate a page with synced blocks they are tied back to the original, however there are times when you want to duplicate a page with synced blocks disconnected from the original.

Anyone else struggle with moving items between databases because they lose the relations?
@PinelliKim has a great workaround here https://t.co/S7XSLZNzv7
Love it! Thanks Kim 🙏🏻
@RedGregory1 Doesn’t this mean you’ve made it? Most people get a random idiot hating their stuff but someone with consistency. That really says something. You’re a proper 🤩 now mate. 🙌🏻
Got an email this morning from Ali Hafezi at Babash Rug Services. At first I thought it was an equiry for a consulting job but then I realised they don’t need me, they’ve done it themselves. 😊
Check out their great setup!

I love it when groups you believe in and trust follow through and deliver on their promises. Big love to the @NotionHQ team for working this through and making good on this not so sexy but super important goal. 🙌🏻
🔒 Some news for teams and enterprises: We're officially SOC 2 compliant!

@jillmetcalfe@NotionHQ Usually bigger. But there is a point where I switch and build something really niche and lightweight alongside the big ones.
Also if I’m building for a client then I won’t go too big. It gets confusing and messy to fix if they accidentally break something. 🤣
@NotionHQ@jillmetcalfe Sure thing!
- aliases for linked databases
- permissions for database/linked db views specifically (I heard this MANY times from people who want to work with collaborators but not share a whole master db with those people)
- property “groups”
@ruiqing Pleas do visit! If we’re ever allowed to travel again. 😩
Nice work on the public accountability. 👊🏻 You must really want to be a YouTube star. 🤩
I’d love to hear about how people are planning their Notion builds. Do you just dive right in and start creating or do you map it out first?
I’ll often start by mapping out the structure on a page using inline tables but if that gets too messy I resort to my trusty whiteboard.
