There was no objection from the Isl@mic Congress.
No objection from the DMK.
No objection from journalists or the media.
No objection from communists or converted groups.
Now just imagine what would happen if Narendra Modi ji, Yogi Adityanath, Himanta Biswa Sarma, or Suvendu Adhikari did the same thing in their roadshows carrying a picture of Lord Shri Rama.
This is what we call secularism.
They can win with Hindu votes and still openly promote their own religion.
In our country, where Hindus are the overwhelming majority, if Modi ji holds a damaru, it is called wrong; if he carries Lord Shivaโs trishul, it is called wrong; even taking the name of Lord Rama is considered wrong.
In India, Hindus are still hesitant even to identify and openly declare themselves as Hindus.
For the last 12 years, at least we have had some courage because โwe are ruling.โ Otherwise, by now, the country would have been broken into two or three pieces.
