Honestly, I never understood why Singaporeans are generally so mild or non-confrontational.

I’m not advocating for you to sock someone in the jaw over jumping your queue but it’s a big spectrum of non-illegal actions between this and not doing anything.

Shoving, body-barging, knocking over their tray of food if someone jumps your queue at the hawker centre and the stall owner bohues your complaint. Curse them an early death, not the simple basic ones, things that’ll unsettle them.

Singaporeans need more of a ‘muay thai mentality’ - if someone lands a punch or kick on you, you must immediately return one back, no matter how ‘weak’ or the judges will record it as you losing the exchange. Or more of an inner Yishun siaolangkia. People need to view the elderly with less reverence and more of ‘down the food chain’.
